West Valley Christian School offers theater arts in which students rehearse and perform a scripted play. There are two productions per school year for grades K-3 and grades 4-8. Students learn the basics of stagecraft, creativity, acting, singing, choreography and observation skills. Students enjoy the rewards of hard work and learning to work together. Students also benefit from theater with improved self-confidence and public speaking skills.
WVCS also offers a theater arts elective where students receive instruction in acting and improv. They write and perform skits for Chapel and School Assemblies. Theater Arts at West Valley is a benefit to students’ overall physical, mental, personal, social and interpersonal skills.
